Do you take commissions?
Sometimes.
Occasionally I take on commission projects, dependent upon my current schedule and/project load. If you are interested in commissioning a project, please fill out the form on this page.
How much?
Every project is unique. We will need to chat about your project before I can determine a cost. Here are some considerations around cost.
-
Style
Artwork I create will be similar to my existing style. Obviously there is some wiggle room, but doing anything that is far off my "regular look" can be like asking a pianist to play a guitar. As an example for me, anime would be pretty off my style.
-
Medium
Final pieces can take me longer to complete, depending on what drawing tools are used. I primarily work in graphite, charcoal, or digital. Graphite/Charcoal take me a bit longer over digital - but results in a physical "original", while digital will only exist as a print (I provide the digital file as well).
-
Size
If the artwork is digital - size really isn't too much of a concern. I can create a file that is high enough resolution to print out the size of a poster (or whatever size you would like). Physical drawings in graphite or charcoal can take a lot longer the bigger the final size gets (primarily due to the time it takes to shade everything at a larger scale).
-
Subject Matter
Naturally, the complexity of the subject matter and the level of detail can greatly increase the time it takes to complete a project.
-
Timeline
If these are needed for a specific date that would require me to work quicker than normal or shift current project deliverables around can incur a rush charge.
-
Payment Terms
While each project is unique, I typically require a 50% deposit to secure your project, with a 25% milestone payment once the drawing has reached a certain stage. Final payment (25%) becomes due upon completion, prior to delivery.
